Due to recent changes in United Healthcare policies, a copay may apply for your baby’s care. Expected copays may range from $10 to $100, depending on your specific insurance plan and benefits.

Please note: United AXA, Liberty, Oxford, and Golden Rule plans typically do not provide coverage for lactation consultations and would therefore be considered self-pay. Most other United Healthcare and UMR plans can generally be billed for services once insurance eligibility and coverage have been verified.

If your insurance plan is not currently in-network with the plans we accept, appointments will need to be scheduled as self-pay. Following your visit, we will provide you with a superbill that you may submit directly to your insurance company to seek reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.

All other patients not using insurance will be considered self pay and payment is due at the time of your visit. Cash is not accepted for the safety of our consultants. Please plan accordingly. A superbill will be provided after your visit. You can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement.

Twins or multiples
Please call to schedule if you have twins or multiples because we will need to adjust the length of the consultation. There will be an additional $50 added per feeding child included during each visit if you are self-pay.
